KPRC Wins 4 Lone Star Emmy Awards

KPRC-TV in Houston has been honored to receive 4 Lone Star Emmy Awards recognizing excellence in television news coverage in the Texas region.

KPRC 2 was awarded Best Evening Newscast for the breaking news coverage of the Ulvade school shooting. Executive producer Steve Ljuljdjuraj and producer Chanel Preston were presented with the Emmy.

In the category of Investigative Report, KPRC’s team of reporter Amy Davis, producer Andrea Slaydon, editor 
Bill Carruthers and photojournalist 
Adrian Montes received an Emmy for the feature “License To Fraud: Crime Rings Litter Roadways With Paper License Plates.”

In the Crime News category, KPRC won for “What Happened To Jason Landry?” with reporter Joel Eisenbaum, producer Debbie Strauss, editor 
Bill Carruthers and photographer 
Adrian Monte taking home the awards.

And KPRC Producer/Director/Editor Glorianne Quintero along with photographer 
Robert Grant were awarded Best Program Promotion for the campaign “Anthony’s Back!”
